    Set up contract management

    Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to create a list of contracts that you have with your vendors, and then track information about the contracts and attach related documents.

    Set up the contract number series

    Before you add or work with contracts, the number series that is used to populate the No. field must be created. For more information, see Create number series.

    After a number series is created for contracts, you must set up the number series on the Contract Management Setup page.

    To set up the contract number series

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter contract management setup, and then choose the related link.

      The Contract Management Setup page opens.

    2. In Contract Nos., specify the number series to be used when creating contracts.

    Contract types

    To group different types of contracts for organizational purposes, you can create contract types.

    To create contract types

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter contract types, and then choose the related link.

      The Contract Types page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose New.

      A new row appears.

    3. In Code, specify a code to represent the contract type.

    4. In Description, specify a description for the contract type.

    5. In Account Type, specify one of the following values:

      • All
      • Customer
      • Vendor
