Set up the confidential indicator for incoming documents and attachments
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to upload confidential documents for various records. When such a document is uploaded, it is marked with Confidential to indicate that this attachment is not visible for users who do not have the required permission.
Attachments can be added either through the incoming documents functionality or through the attachments functionality.
Confidential indicator for incoming documents
The incoming documents functionality is one of the ways that attachments can be added to a document. To learn more about the incoming documents functionality, see Incoming documents.
The control of whether a user can view confidential incoming documents is managed through permission sets.
To set up the confidential indicator for incoming documents
Choose
, enter permission sets, and then choose the related link.The Permission Sets page opens.
Select the permission set for which you want to set up the confidential indicator, and then on the action bar, choose Permissions.
The Permissions page for the selected permission set displays.
Verify or add a record that has the Object ID of 130.
The Object Name automatically changes to Incoming Document.
In Security Filter, choose
.The Table Filter - Incoming Document page opens.
In Field Number, specify 23022000.
In Field Filter, specify No.
Confidential indicator for attachments
The attachments functionality is a way to add attachments to a document. The control of whether a user can view confidential attachments is managed through permission sets.
To set up the confidential indicator for attachments
Choose
, enter permission sets, and then choose the related link.The Permission Sets page opens.
Select the permission set for which you want to set up the confidential indicator, and then on the action bar, choose Permissions.
The Permissions page for the selected permission set displays.
Verify or add a record that has the Object ID of 1173.
The Object Name automatically changes to Document Attachment.
In Security Filter, choose
.The Table Filter - Incoming Document page opens.
In Field Number, specify 23022252.
In Field Filter, specify No.
