Set up benefit option codes

The Benefit Option Codes page provides a central location to set up benefit options that are used across benefit plans. After you set up benefit option codes, you can assign those codes to benefit plans on the Benefit Plan Options page.

To set up benefit option codes

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter benefit option codes, and then choose the related link.

    The Benefit Option Codes page opens.

  2. On the action bar, choose New.

    A new row appears.

  3. In Code, specify a code that represents a benefit plan option.

  4. In Description, specify a description for the benefit plan option.
