    Post an accounts payable batch

    After a batch is audited and deemed complete, the batch can be posted either by the accounts payable representative who originally created the batch or by the accounts payable auditor who reviewed the batch. A batch must have a Status of Audited before the batch can be posted. After a batch is audited, it is recommended that you print a Batch Control Report for filing purposes.

    To post a batch (invoices)

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter a/p batches, and then choose the related link.

      The A/P Batches page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose Filters > Audited.

      The list of audited batches displays.

    3. Select the invoices batch that you want to post, and then on the action bar, choose Posting > Post Batch (Invoices).

      Invoices and credit memos are posted separately.

      The Batch Post Purchase Invoices page opens.

    4. On the Options FastTab, in Posting Date, specify the posting date.

    5. Turn on Replace Posting Date, Replace Document Date, or Calc. Inv. Discount as required.

    6. Specify filters as required.

    7. Choose OK.

      A status dialog box appears and displays the posting progress. When the processing is complete, a confirmation dialog box appears.

    8. Choose OK.

      The batch is posted. The batch is removed from the audited list and now appears in the posted list.

    To post a batch (cr. memos)

    1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter a/p batches, and then choose the related link.

      The A/P Batches page opens.

    2. On the action bar, choose Filters > Audited.

      The list of audited batches displays.

    3. Select the credit memos batch that you want to post, and then on the action bar, choose Posting > Post Batch (Cr. Memos).

      Invoices and credit memos are posted separately.

    4. On the Options FastTab, in Posting Date, specify the posting date.

    5. Turn on Replace Posting Date, Replace Document Date, or Calc. Inv. Discount as required.

    6. Specify filters as required.

    7. Choose OK.
