Sort batch payroll
On the Payroll Setup page, on the Payroll Batch Setup FastTab, the Sort Payroll Batch by field provides the capability to specify how to sort the payroll batch.
Use CAN ROE Actual Work Date
Use actual work date functionality has been added for Canadian ROE.
On a payroll line, if the actual work date is populated, the actual work date is populated in the payroll ledger. This field can be used in the ROE.
If the actual work date is not populated, the pay cycle ending date is automatically populated in the payroll ledger actual work date field.
Error Warnings
An error has been added to prevent the payroll type from being renamed.
This functionality prevents problems with other settings in the payroll code record.
Deferring social security tax
A deferred amount of social security tax can be put into the 941 to reflect the executive order signed in early September.
Piece rate entry table
The piece rate entries now consider the amount field if it is greater than the rate multiplied by the quantity.
This provides the capability for a user to enter the amounts in the manual piece rate entries and have the amount that is entered determine the rate.
