Map benefit plans to external deductions

Sparkrock 365 provides the capability to map benefit plans to external deductions.

On the Compensation Journal page, the Send to Payroll action initiates the employee benefit plans and HR employee deductions synchronizations.

To map benefit plans to external deductions

1. Choose , enter benefit plans, and then choose the related link.

   The Benefit Plans page opens.

2. On the row for the benefit plan that you want to map, perform the following steps:

   1. in Send to Payroll specify one of the following options:
      
      • Wage Garnishment: Maps to payroll provider payroll codes where the Type is Deduction. Data is sent to the Employee Deduction table.
      • Other Deduction: Maps to payroll provider payroll codes where the Type is Deduction. Data is sent to the Employee Process Procedure table.
      • Employer Contribution: Maps to the payroll provider payroll codes where Type is Employer Contribution. Data is sent to the Employee Process Procedure table.
   2. In External ID, specify the External ID code to map to the correct code.
