Edit data before exporting the Ontario Teachers Insurance Plan (OTIP) Human Resources Information System (HRIS) export file

If required, the data on the OTIP Export page can be edited. Editing the data on the OTIP Export page does not change the underlying data. OTIP Export page changes are reported in the export file only.

To edit specific fields on the OTIP Export page

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter hris exports, and then choose the related link.

    The HRIS Exports page opens.

  2. On the action bar, choose Related > View > File Definitions.

    The HRIS Export File Definitions page opens.

  3. Select the Allow Editing on Export checkbox for the field that you want to edit.

  4. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter otip export, and then choose the related link.

    The OTIP Export page opens.

  5. Edit the field.
