Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) report worksheet errors and warnings
The Employment Data & Analysis System (EDAS) report worksheet functionality includes validations for the EDAS setup as well as for individual lines.
EDAS setup validations
When you try to load lines into the EDAS Report Worksheet, Sparkrock 365 validates the EDAS setup. If the EDAS setup validation fails, Sparkrock 365 displays the one or more errors that are preventing the loading of lines on the Error Messages page. On the Error Messages page, you can select the one or more links to have Sparkrock 365 direct you to the one or more pages that are causing a validation failure. After you correct all EDAS setup errors, you can try to load lines again.
Line validations
After lines have been loaded into the EDAS Report Worksheet, you can view whether the lines have any errors or warnings. You cannot create the EDAS report export file until all errors have been corrected.
View only lines with errors
To view only lines with errors, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, on the action bar, choose Page > Show Lines With Errors.
The page refreshes and displays only lines with errors.
View one or more error messages for a line
To view the one or more error messages for a line, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, select the line for which you want to view the one or more error messages.
The Worksheet Check FactBox updates and displays the one or more errors for the selected line. Sparkrock 365 displays errors in red.
View errors
To view all EDAS report worksheet errors, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, on the action bar, choose Page > View Errors.
The Error Messages page opens and displays all errors for the EDAS report worksheet lines.
View only lines with warnings
To view only lines with warnings, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, on the action bar, choose Page > Show Lines With Warnings.
The page refreshes and displays only lines with warnings.
View one or more warnings for a line
To view one or more warnings for a line, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, select the line for which you want to view the one or more warning messages.
The Worksheet Check FactBox updates and displays the one or more warnings for the selected line.
View warnings
To view all EDAS report worksheet warnings, on the EDAS Report Worksheet page, on the action bar, choose Page > View Warnings.
The Error Messages page opens and displays all warnings for the EDAS report worksheet lines.
Field level validations
Sparkrock 365 provides the capability for you to turn off field level validations for the EDAS Report Worksheet page. When field level validations are turned off, you can clear cell values in the worksheet without Sparkrock 365 displaying an error. For example, if you notice that a date of birth is incorrect, you may want to change the value to be blank.
