Copy mySparkrock user setup

You can copy the mySparkrock user setup of a mySparkrock user to additional users who are created. This functionality saves time and improves accuracy, especially for general mySparkrock user accounts that apply to most users.

The copy mySparkrock user setup functionality copies the following information:

  • User profile

  • Content from the Dimensions and Defaults FastTabs

  • All security profile exceptions, such as dimensions, dimension filter action and item, expense type, vendor, and general ledger account filters.

  • mySparkrock groups

  • Financial analysis data sets, including effective dates.

To copy a mySparkrock user setup

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter mysparkrock user setups, and then choose the related link.

  2. Select the target mySparkrock user to which you want the mySparkrock user setup copied, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.

  3. On the action bar, choose Home > Copy From mySparkrock User Setup.

    The Copy mySparkrock User Setup page opens.

  4. In mySparkrock User Name, specify the mySparkrock user account that you want to copy, and then choose OK.

    A dialog box appears and displays a message indicating that the preferences from the employee you specified have been successfully copied.

  5. To close the dialog box, choose OK.
