Assign an approval group to a budget set

After you have set up an approval group for budgeting and planning approvals, to use the approval group, you must assign the approval group to a budget set.

To assign an approval group to a budget set

  1. Choose Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature., enter g/l budget plans, and then choose the related link.

    The G/L Budget Plans page opens.

  2. Select the budget plan to which you want to assign an approval group, and then on the action bar, choose G/L Budget Sets.

    The G/L Budget Sets page opens.

  3. Select the budget set that you want to edit, and then on the action bar, choose Manage > Edit.

    The G/L Budget Set Card page opens.

  4. On the General FastTab, in Approval Group Code, specify the approval group that you want to assign to the budget set.
