Purchases Quote Overview (Power BI Report)
APPLIES TO: Business Central 2025 release wave 2 and later.
The Purchase Quote Overview report provides detailed information on your organization's purchase quote activities for vendors. The report visualizes the number of quotes, purchase quantities and purchase amount over time. Additionally, this report provides insights into purchase quotes by vendor, and purchase amount by purchaser and item category, to help you anticipate upcoming purchases.

Use the report
This report is designed for purchasing managers and purchasers to track ongoing purchase quotes and predict purchasing impacts on profit figures.
As a purchase manager, you might want to monitor the performance of purchasers or proactively adapt to purchasing requirements or supply chain conditions. With these insights, you can compare purchase quotes by vendor and anticipate purchase contributions to profit figures, before accepting a vendor's quote. Meanwhile, through reviewing purchaser activities, you can delegate accordingly to optimize and diversify purchasing strategies.
As a purchaser, you can use the report to review your upcoming purchase impacts and prioritize purchasing operations. For example, analyzing the purchase quote value over time or by item category, might give you insights into anticipating purchasing requirements for a particular period or item category.
