Key Purchase Influencers (Power BI Report)

The Key Purchase Influencers report identifies the key factors driving purchase performance in your organization. This report highlights the most impactful variables and trends based on purchase data, providing insights into how they influence purchasing metrics to empower strategic business decisions and inform procurement planning.
The Key Influencers visual uses AI to identify factors that affect purchases across types of purchase documents. It highlights the key metrics that influence specific datasets and breaks down the most impactful segments within your purchase data.
Additionally, the Top Segments tab summarizes the segments analyzed in the Key Influencers visual. The summary gives you an overview of the areas that contribute most to your purchase outcomes. Together, these tools provide a comprehensive view of purchase drivers and help uncover opportunities for optimization.

Use the report
This report can be used by leadership and management teams to identify the primary drivers of purchase performance and highlight actionable insights.
As a CEO, this report can be used to identify the item and vendor metrics contributing to purchasing trends. For example, the Key Influencers visual might reveal that a significant number of purchase returns are attributed to single-supplier items, with an increased likelihood of three times compared to return documents with a lower number of single-supplier items.
As a purchasing manager, this report can be used to identify the key factors influencing purchasing metrics and track the vendor behaviors which positively contribute to purchasing performance. Using the report, you may identify purchase documents attributed to a specific purchaser are more likely to receive a higher discount percent.
Using these insights, you can optimize purchasing strategies to improve profit metrics and improve the organization's supply chain. This could include diversifying product suppliers, strengthening valuable vendor relationships, or informing new purchaser process training.
